The other day, in the colloquium, we ended up talking about the presentations of my books. When I introduced the first book, the editor Gorka Arrese was with me. That same day I made a presentation at Etxarri Aranatz and Juanjo Olasgrip was in my soul. Then came Iban Zaldua, Jon Benito, Igor Estankona and Beñat Sarasola. All of you who've done the presentations of my books to me have been men, except in the last book. The editor and the writer usually agree who is going to be in the presentation and, although he may lie, he was not yet so aware of the importance of those decisions. Maybe that's why, when I was talking to the editor of the last book presentation, I proposed to the editor that a writer -- I mean -- do it. He proposed to defend the book alone. And so we did. The defense was the word he used and I found it very appropriate. Because the thing is not that what a man did to us was made by a woman, but that we did it ourselves.
