Conflict triangle | Marina Sagastizabal | Lisipe.

It is important to thank for making informative versions of the research papers. Because the goal of all research is that, disclosure, right?

Marina Sagastizabal speaks of the conflictive triangle in the last issue of the Lisipe collection. This triangle consists of household and care tasks, employment and socio-political participation, as can be read in the second part of the title.

All of this is based on time and management: How much time do we spend on paid work? What about the house bills? How long do we have to be with family, couples/lovers and friends? Do we have time to build/transform the community in the village or in the neighborhood?

Where have concepts such as ‘precariousness’, ‘self-exploitation’ and ‘age of tiredness’ been born from? How many times have you said no to participate in an interesting project “because life does not give you”? Have you never felt disappointed to want to do everything but impossibility? Since when haven’t you taken a full weekend for “you” without feeling sorry afterwards?

One of the usual topics in literature is the passage of time. In this essay, the author shows us. It talks about the triple day of women from a Marxist-feminist perspective and the third, in the social and political sphere, about the difficulties it has to act.

These pages outline the care policies and feminist economy that are priority in today’s feminism. And some testimonies that remind us that capitalism, patriarchy and racism intersect. We can read that we are living through a multidimensional crisis that has been accentuated and accelerated in the last year. The pandemic has brought a certain life to the centre and the response of neoliberalism is being clear.

This book allows you to think about time and look at everyday life in a different way. It is an offer of awareness with the help of feminist works and authors in this matter that, after reading, awakens the desire to discuss with their relatives. Because it affects us all, in one way or another, this issue, and we worry that we can influence the collective from home, if we want, without looking so much at the clock.
