  • The European Research Council, through the Petrifying Wealth project, is preparing an open cartographic viewer that brings together the medieval structures of south-west Europe.

Interactive map XI, It consists of 17,000 structures and buildings of the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and southern France of the 12th and 13th centuries: roads, fortifications, religious buildings…

For the time being, the public can see the roads and roads on the map, but at the end of the project, exhaustive information about all the elements will be available, in direct connection with the databases about them.
