14 April 2010: Two relatives of victims of Franco filed a complaint in a court in Buenos Aires for crimes against humanity committed against him. It was the beginning of the Argentine complaint.
31 October 2014: Justice María Servini de cubría has ordered the indictment and detention of former Franco minister Rodolfo Martín Villa, who has been arrested by court order. 25 October 2018: The Spanish National Court will prevent the declaration of the former Francoist president on the grounds that he breaches the 1977 Amnesty Law and that he does not respect the law.
1 September 2020: Four former Spanish presidents will send a letter to Servini expressing their support and support for Martín Villa.
3 September 2020:After several attempts in the previous months, Martín Villa will appear by videoconference at the Argentine Embassy in Madrid, where he will remain in pre-trial detention.
