When we were little, the parents were mobilizing because there were no parks in our neighborhoods, and in addition, in the large plots there were then, syringes were piled. Over the years, cities became beautious, including parks, with their fountains and lakes.
In parallel to this evolution, we abandoned some of the neighborhood's parks and the sinks surrounding the city. As cities became more habitable, we used them less, and we would gather in private corners and pools (forgiveness, social initiative spaces, I mean) to spend Sundays and summer evenings. When we were driving, we saw in the parks of our city volleyball or soccer games, accompanied by reggaeton or bachata sounds. Colorful, alive, but very far from us…
All of a sudden, our corners and pools closed and we stayed in the street. The parks and sinks were there, beautiful and useful. In addition, they belong to all (as they have always been). Gradually, we have begun to make very simple plans to meet our pandemic weekends, at least as far as we can. Maybe without bach but with rich mountain clothes. Well, everyone in their style, but we've again tasted the entertainment of low glamour and so-called categories.
In other words, in difficult times we have had to put our feet on the ground. Going back to our category, maybe. How things change, comrade…
