The trio of Oñati discovered it in 2004 when they enrolled in the first edition of the music competition Danbaka de Debagoiena. Under the average name of joke that has remained forever, they were the pioneers in bringing the stoner from the California desert to the Basque Country, hanging it with the windshield of Araotz and giving it its own touch. The imaginative and intricate guitars of Zarketa, the piercing and drawing beats of Egoitz's battery, and the ways to play Iñigo's bass by multiplying the pendulum and the most acclaimed melodies, surprised the jury and, of course, the audience of the competition. They got the first prize and published their first album.
These songs gave more than 3,000 rounds in the scenes and musical apparatus of many, where energy, intensity and melody abound. Later, 13 heartbeats, more complete, round and heartfelt, would go out to the street, as well as an excellent planned head work. This is followed by the album Ertz, which come together in one point: this work represents the broadest and most varied musical tastes that members of the band had at the time, so that, despite the prejudices, he also took other fears and environments within his bosom.
Now, after a long break, they are stealing time back from daily suffocation, which is what they need, from the bowels, to make music and to bring it to light. The Loto-lorea makes it clear that the voice will take a higher tone. Although it has a burden of stoner, it is more melodic, more restless and mysterious with the semi-replacements. Satellites are more stoner and space, playing in half a tempo. Otso has a firm foundation, but dances with a Latin, flamenco and progressive rhythm. The salvation of the stupids is that of the rockers and has in its veins QOTSA. Despite being very melodic in the circle, it falls into a progressive instrument. The mask is a dumbfounded, dirty and violent excavator. A dark room, able to marry the heavy and Basque song. Spell the song in crescendo a melodic piece that grows. And finally, the farewell, a poperic piece that has a great taste of the 1960s.
