They were previously thought to be like baby bottles, but the fact that milk was now found from cattle has confirmed the hypothesis.

The results of the research have been published in the journal Nature and, according to the researcher at the University of Bristol Julie Dunne: “The analysed packaging is about 3,000 years old, but also about 7,000 years old. That is why we believe that human beings began in the Neolithic period to shorten lactations and to stop breastfeeding earlier.”
