To the cabaret singer of Paris, grandma!
  • Even though it was the last performance, I have finally had the opportunity to see the Mami Lebrun play of the company Xake. We have travelled the road to Bilbao with a theatrical thirst, and like us, many have approached the representation organized by the Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao on the occasion of the Basque Day.

Grandma La Concha just died. Her nephew wants to pay a tribute to her grandmother and wants to bring the experiences of her youth to the stage. To this end, the programme will look into the history of La Concha as a cabaret singer at the time when Paris was under Nazi occupation. A tender, close, lively, sincere and sweet story, with a custom touch of humor.

Euskaldunes II Because I love hearing that we also made our contribution in the World War. Or because I have enjoyed the painstaking Euskera and the nice confusion of the Basque dialects in the live interviews collected in the script of Errasti.Aunque have talked about mourning, life and death, I have also had the opportunity to laugh. I'm not ashamed to say that, because I like romantic stories.

The table of the camerino of a Cabaret in Paris on the stage and a micro. The same story should take something else. The music of the time and live voices, however, have helped on the journey to Paris.

The members of the Chess Company have connected with the public of Bilbao, with its first production. I would venture to say that the Donostia Theatre Award achieved last year has also been deserved. It is a pity that these lines are written at the gates of the last performance of the work. Anyway, I will take the time to watch the Lur show, which closely follows the tour of this group.
