In 1880, nobody wanted to work for him, or buy or sell products. Boycott initially won Protestant Ulster workers. But the Irish Farmers' League allowed farmers and other services to reject Boycott and the railways themselves refused to transport English products. In the end, they managed to expel Boycott from Ireland.
