How can organizations be revitalized?

Innovation is the only anti-ageing treatment. On this occasion I will refer to osteoarthritis of the organizations that live in adulthood.

Institutional decline. The same thing as animals, the institutions, when they are newly created, have their natural strength to spare. After a road, they frequently lose the pill and get into an apathetic routine. It's a natural law that you give at birth and you slow down at maturity.

Why that damping? I believe that both phenomena converge in this loss of vitality of organizations. On the one hand, the original approach loses gloss after a deadline. Without realizing it, this beautiful idea that gave meaning to the organization in its origin goes into the background. Secondly, something happens that seems quite biological and evolutionary: after an organization has passed the first phase of its life, it stops growing and stays as it is; from there, as for every living being, for organizations, the survival of itself will be the most important objective. That is why this institutional body becomes more conservative, sometimes too much, to oblivion. Survival does, but that instinct should not cover the spark of the organization.

First: awareness of passivity

Solutions. The revitalization of an organization must have an impact on four areas in particular. The first thing we mention in passing is to become aware of passivity. Here are the other three:
– The next, and most importantly, is to have a new project, a solid project that can have a different character. So I can explain it. The revitalization of an organization is a big bet. We therefore need a strategy with the potential for success in this task. That is why it seems logical that this process of revitalization should be based on an instinct that awakens our own internal minds. In my opinion, this instinct is our natural desire to discover something new. Thinking about it, we like novelty, it's something that attracts us in any sphere of life.
– The third variable is the leader. A leader who knows how to turn the new project into a dream. It can be said that the leader and the project are two sides of the same shocking imaginary.
– The fourth is the long-term training and information of the collective. What? The rationale of the organization (meaning), as well as the challenges and projects it has. So we can have more conscious and mature beings, and that's important because, along with other measures, the food that the organization needs is balanced.
