Caramel Chaparron
Eve of San Juan, parties in Eibar. We are waiting to pass the Tamborrada with a group of boys and girls. They're full of sleep and fatigue, but they're very excited to see the company parade. It's late for them, tomorrow they'll tell you they've done a great juerga.
We have had the flags, the cantineros, the drums and the barrels. We've also seen the village band. It just lacks the scavenger.
The truck, loaded with handball, goes very far, and when it approached us, it launched a chaparron of confessions and caramels. What madness! The dirty asphalt tracked more than ever in search of the lost caramel! Happy children's face! In addition to those who have received, the elderly have also achieved those who have joined! What a sugar holiday!
We've also walked close to the scavenger, to see if we took more. We went home with a pocket full of sweetness, with a smile in our mouth.
The point is that these children are not very godly: they will put the treasure in a box instead of in the mouth. However, hunting has been wild.
We haven't gotten into candy because of the sweetness, but we've been moved by the fascination of free things, stimulated by the instinct of prey that we all have inside. We seek to accumulate, to have more than anyone else. More quickly, more than satisfied.
