San Fermines 78 gogoan. Askoren artean. Gor, 2018.

It is 40 years since the Armed Police tried with all its forces to open the way to shots in the bullring and to quench the thirst for freedom that existed in the town when the Saint Fermin festivities were celebrated. The result: eleven gun-wounded and the murder of the young Germán Rodríguez. Of course, they have never tried or condemned anyone for this horror.

In Pamplona and in many other places, however, people have not forgotten that massacre and will continue to denounce the truth, justice and reparation without despair. In this context, the members of the veteran label Gor and his relatives came up with music to keep Germán's memory and what happened and transmit what happened to younger generations. Said and done, the members of the label Gor have attracted musicians from yesterday and today, and have gathered ten musical initiatives from Navarra in this collection. All the benefits of this memorable album will go to the “Sanfermines 78 gogogoan” initiative.

Three of these ten songs are not new, but their words coincide with what happened and with the denunciation: The Vengeance of the Grandmother was the project created in the late 1990s by the well-known musician El Drogas, and the metal scream of Zua Street; the tremendous German piece (and text) of the rapper La Chula Potra has no expiration date; nor the soft and sensitive voice of the historical memory, Fermin Balencia and his sad but hopeful Hilarria.

Moreover, there are those of Balerdi Balerdi - which is unforgettable with the piece -, Leihotikan who will never let the fire of the melodic hardcore – The cursed dance of dogs –; Altxatu sasoitsua sasoitsua, which has very much in mind the force, youth, punk and some new place(n) to record a Pas-Streu;
