I was struck by a question from ETB’s Ur Handitan programme. Here are the comments of Xabier Madariaga to Gorka Urbizu del Berri Txarrak: Do you think if you don't have a family, it's for music?

She told her that she had no family, even though she had previously interviewed her sister. After the surprise that caused me, the ladies of our grandmother's time came to my mind, asking about the children's issue.

I sniffed the interrogation a little bit, because it seems that if we don't bring children, we don't have a family. It is pointless to remember that we can be parents, siblings, nephews or sister-in-law, in those heads we will always be familiar to those who do not have children.

Of course, we cannot talk about the family of friends and cohabitants. Those sympathetic people who help us pass the trances of life and move forward are not from the family of blood, we do not share DNA, but we share experiences, joys and sadness in order to make the way faster. They are our chosen family, as important as the other.

Because the entry of children into the world gives no more status, no more status. Because the family can be in many ways.
