Lately, Pamplona is freezing on Wednesday. Well, on Wednesdays, and also every day that goes from Monday to Sunday. In the last few days, temperatures have not been able to reach zero, with the intention of nevar, and they have not been able to do so. It is not, therefore, the fault of the HerrikON concerts held every Wednesday, of that coldness in Iruñea.

But yes, Wednesdays have a special charm in the Herriko Taberna, an unpredictable atmosphere. Every week you don't know if you'll be able to sit or enjoy a private concert. Thus, despite being a completely unknown group in the city, the bar was filled with bold listeners with red faces. He arrived at Nøgen Karmen Street with a snowman.

The name of the group in Danish is “Naked” and the Quintet appeared naked in front of the public. Let me walk in old clothes, let me be raised in the first song that we were confessed to in the narrow streams, as if they wanted to relieve the cold of our bodies by going naked. And so it was, in acoustic format, as the allegory songs of the element-indie style were presented to the public with sweetness. In addition to his first short EP, LYS, we were able to listen to the songs from the album they are preparing, as well as the song they first released in public. There was also an opportunity to hear versions, such as the Basque variant of the beautiful Kansas City. I did not mention it before, but Jone Laspiur was the singer at the concert in Pamplona/Iruña. The lead singer, Ane Negueruela, has stayed out and meanwhile Jone has joined the group. We were surprised by his strong voice, although he sang in a quiet acoustic nearby, showing that he has plenty of strength when he wants.

Light and joyful melodies unconsciously led us into the summer atmosphere, where we forgot it was a Wednesday in February. The English words, mixed with the songs, and the rhythms of the ukulele, remembered a different place and time, as if we were on a California beach, barefoot and indifferent. Forgotten about the cold outside, the Donostiarras completely undressed before us, as they sang without needing to use the microphone for when we realized. The games that were made between the voices of all the members of the group conveyed to the listeners their complicity and good roll, while we were trying to sing choruses. By the end they left the band's most famous songs: Close by, they composed the first song, and Nora, the band's Single.

When the refrain was in the air, the stretch was emptied and, I am not going to lie, we were eager to hear it again. We put on the old summer clothes that Nøgen gave us and went out to the street to face the Winter Wednesdays a little more joyful.
