Those responsible for this Europe of traders, the Europe of Capital, are very concerned about the rise of the far right – now also in France – by ‘populism’ and Europhobia. They fear that it will erupt between workers and citizens. They do not seek a fairer and more egalitarian society. No. Even when in January the world elites met in Davos, Switzerland, they said that the benefits of economic growth should be transferred a little to society to avoid riots and mobilizations. That is why the EU has launched a social marketing operation that seeks to improve quality. It's going to change its behavior a little -- it's going to spread crumbs -- to keep accumulating benefits with it.
Following capitalist globalisation, so far in the EU, cutting policies have been promoted and maintained with the consequences that this entails for the population and workers: insofar as the multinationals are increasingly wealthy, workers have suffered relocations, wages have been reduced, social deprivation, youth unemployment, precariousness, inequality and discrimination among women has increased ... Now they want to wash their hands to continue with their Europe: that of capital. It's a total marketing offensive! Social Europe needs another socio-economic model... Doesn't it exist today?
