The Young Orchestra of Euskal Herria offered us a different bet and an unforgettable title for the winter concert. Who doesn't remember the Harold Lloyd scene hanging from a building clock? That frame is very popular, but perhaps many people do not know that Safety is from the last film (or Euli Man).

Those of the Young Orchestra gave us the opportunity to watch this film along with the soundtrack of Carl Davis, in which the orchestra was present. The result is magnificent. Yes, there was a small risk: with such a good film, it was possible that the music was in the background – and to some extent it happened – but, despite that, it was a complete, fun and quality show. The public enjoyed and it was shown that the Young Orchestra of Euskal Herria is more than a quarry. Step by step, director Juan José Ocón takes the team very fine and firm on the path of quality, and that is clear in every program they give.

As has been said, the proposal for this period was taken from the usual channels, and the effort made must therefore be further valued. It's not an easy task to highlight a movie with music. Exceptional accuracy is needed to synchronize the effects performed by the composer with the scene or movement required. We were very attentive and it has to be said that the synchronization work was great. But it's not just that. The composition and sound delicacy of the Orchestra were striking. All musicians shared with the audience the joy of a job well done, and the audience realized it. On the other hand, the “secondary role” of the aforementioned music, to put it somewhat, should not be considered negative. In this case, the truth is that the prominence should be of the film, and the orchestra did its work, setting the masterpiece of Lloyd and giving the necessary magic.

The program was very successful and, to respond to the applause, they played a nice bis. A medley of Christmas songs in the form of jazz called Olentz-EGO. It's well done. Congratulations.
