Amelia Earhart on the island of Nikumaroro
- Aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart was lost in the Pacific in 1937, in an attempt to turn the world around. Years later a human skeleton was discovered on the island of Nikumaroro, but it was said that it was not from Earhart, among other things because long humers indicated that it was from a man.
Now, the Fundación de Arqueología Aeronáutica TIGHAR revises the research work of these bones, which were lost a long time ago, and of a Caucasian woman, therefore, may belong to Earhart. The long arms not only abandon the hypothesis, but strengthen it, as the flyer was of long limbs, as you can see in the photo. In addition, on the island there was also a piece of zipper, buttons and a shoe the size of Amelia.
