Thieves and liars
Juan Mari Arregi 2016ko irailaren 20a

Yes, what you've read, burglars and funnels. That is how we can appoint the main leaders of the large banks and of the Spanish Government. We should take them to an independent jury so that, after judging them, they can return what has been stolen and be forced to resign. It's no joke. Both party politicians and authorities of the Bank of Spain already knew it, but kept it secret.

It is now known that the Spanish State has lost the thousands of euros it left to the bank to recapitalise itself in the midst of the financial crisis. The Bank of Spain has admitted that it has only paid 5% of the EUR 51.303 million it left to the financial system. The worst thing about this institution is that, although the government promised three times in the Spanish Parliament that citizens will not pay the crisis, EUR 26.3 billion of taxpayers’ money, 2.6% of GDP, has been lost forever. “The bank will pay”, “the taxpayer will not cost you a euro”, “the loan will not cost the society, but the opposite”... are statements by Rajoy, Sáenz de Santamaría and De Guindos.

With these EUR 26.3 billion that have been lost as a result of fraud, the government was able to avoid cuts in health and education of EUR 16.3 billion, as well as increase pensions and social aid. The scam leaves a hole of EUR 600 for each taxpayer, including the Basque, who has been arrested in Madrid. Bankers, politicians and others responsible for the plot should appear before the judge to return the money, say it by diminishing it and be disabled for life, since these are thieves and liars.
