In any case, some of the mountaineers using these tools are already warning that the risk of spending more time looking at the screen that the environment is increasing.

Wikiloc, millions of routes

It shares routes for outdoor activities or sports, all with geolocation. They are mountain tours, natural spaces or on the road, which can be carried out on foot, running, by bicycle, skiing, racket or motorbike. Almost 2 million people share more than 4.5 million routes and 7 million photos worldwide. It is built on Google Maps or Open Street Map and you can equip a route with the GPS markings you want, adding images that serve at the same time as a bait or that help the route.

In the past, this application has always been linked to the future, especially through cinema, but for years it has been the current one, but in the last two or three years it has been spreading a lot. Basically, it “increases” reality, that is, it offers us the virtual information that takes that place when we are focusing something with our mobiles – phones, tablets…. It overlays two already worked images that we're collecting, and it shows us all the virtual information that that image or place has before.

Little is played with this app, but it is better to download it to increase user safety. Even without Internet connection, read the phone's coordinates and is connected to 112 or other emergency services. Its use is simple, have the Smartphone app and GPS enabled and give the red button in case of emergency. Better if you don't have to use it, but just in case it's essential to carry it over.

Like so many others, this app shares routes.
