More free tests to certify the Basque Country
- The only open examination for the accreditation of the competition in Euskera will not be the EGA. The Basque Government has decided that from September onwards tests for levels B1 and B2 will also be free.
To be submitted to tests for levels
B1 and B2, the same requirements as in EGA are required to access the tests. So, be at least 17 years old. Moreover, they will also be certified at levels A1 and A2.

for various uses, but for many others it is not. To live in Basque you do not need the EGA level, you can work with a lower level” said Linguistic Policy Vice-Advisor, Patxi Baztarrika.
Three out of
four applicants for GABHS in the GABHS dispute do not approve the test. At the request of the Basque Parliament, a group of experts is preparing a report on EGA and the results are expected to be submitted shortly.
