Hope (II)
I'm hopeful. When a sexist campaign against a woman is launched, feminist solidarity is launched. For example, the response of the women of the Cup seems to me to be remarkable. As Queer or the loggers did, the contempt and the bad words they received were theirs and said they will continue to work. These insults emerged from the personal and, in addition to emphasizing their political character, left a clear political position on the table. We have something to learn.
I'm full of emotions. We have had Angela Davis, and although the opportunity to hear her great contribution has been impressive, it has moved me inside to hear the feminist discourse that has been delivered in the different forums and debates that have been created around her. I've heard a young woman hear that those identities that have been on the margins have to be at the heart of our politics and of our transformative subject, that feminism is a guarantee of social well-being for a unionist, that caring for oneself and for the group has to be a political responsibility for a feminist. And I've felt it with the illusion of the people who applauded all of that and want to move it forward. Now is the time to build all these ideas and I will be on the road with you.
