Galderak egiten ibiltzeko ohitura ergel hori
Eskolan ikasten den leziorik garrantzitsuena da, garrantzitsuena ez dela eskolan ikasten”. Ideiarik ere ez nori entzun nion esaldia, baina guztiz bat nator mezuarekin. Eskolak asko eman dezakeela jakin arren, haren mugen berri ere badugu. Inork ez du uste seme-alabak geletan sartu eta hortik jakin beharreko guztiaren jabe aterako direnik. Batetik, eskolan ergelkeria asko ikasten-edo ditugulako; eta, bestetik, bizitzako lezio nagusiak beste bide batzuetatik datozkigulako. Guztiok dakigunez, asko dira bidera ateratzen zaizkigun titulurik gabeko irakasleak, libururik gabeko lezioak: gozoak batzuk, garratzak besteak. Sekula ahantziko ez ditugun ikasgaiak. Kolpean barneraturik, kolpeka askotan.
Ikasle nintzela, niretzat tortura hutsa ziren jarduera askotan aritu nintzen. Preteknologia, izena eta izana gorrotagarriak zituen ikasgaia, bat aipatzeagatik; matematikako problema nazkagarriez ere oroitu ez ezik, amets gaiztoen protagonista ditut, oraindik ere, noizean behin; epe laburragoan sufrituagatik, sekula ulertu ez nituen kimikako kontu ilunak ere eskola garaiko torturen sailkapenean sartuko nituzke.
Hamabost urteko mutikoari, lehen aldiz, nondik jo nahi zuen galdetu bezain laster amaitu zen sufrikarioa. Eta, bat-batean, eragiketa eta formula haiek atzean uztearekin batera deskubritu nuen liluratu ninduen ikasgaia. Irakasleak gai bat mahaigaineratu eta horretaz aritzen ginen solasean, nor bere iritzia emanez: denboraren joan-etorria, edertasuna, egia, justizia… Bitxia zen duela mende askotako jakintsu batzuek horretaz esanikoa irakurtzea: gure harridurarako, hain testu zaharrak berriak ziren aldi berean, gaurkotasun handikoak.
Aitortu beharra daukat: ikasgai hartan landurikoak soluzio argirik ez izatea ere oso erakargarria zitzaidan. Gehiegitan ibilia nintzen matematikako labirintoetan barna galdurik, irakasleak arbelean idatziriko soluzioaren arrastotik hain urrun, haraino nola arraio hel zitekeen ulertu ezinik. Ikasgai berriaren gakoa, nire zorionerako, bueltaka ibiltzea zen, batetik bestera, sekula helmugaraino heltzeko aukerarik gabe. Urtetako esperientziak erakutsia banekien horretan aise mugituko nintzela.
Filosofia zuen izena ni liluratu ninduen ikasgaiak, orain hezkuntza sistematik kanpo utzi nahi duten berbera. Pentsatzen hasita, erabakia ez da harritzekoa. Izan ere, galderak etengabe egiten ibiltzea, inora helduko ez zarela jakinik, denbora-galtze hutsa da, ergelkeria. Gure gizarteak gauza praktikoak nahiago ditu, berehalako etekinak ematen dituztenak. Galderen ordez, erantzunak: ahalik eta gehien, ahalik eta azkarren. Klik batean, ahal bada.
