Above and beyond the revolt of the Spanish media, the result of the Catalan elections is clear: independence has won the elections. Of the 135 deputies, 72 are independentists (62 JxS and 10 CUP), an undisputed independence majority, especially as independence achieved its best results in the last legislature with 24 deputies (21 ERC and 3 CUP). So far, Convergence has never come up with a specific independence programme, and that too must be remembered.
Given all the controversy that has arisen in the campaign on the subject, another truth should be highlighted: the reading of the plebiscite has prevailed and, again, the analysis by the Spanish parties and media has been blurred.
They stress that independence, with 47.8% of the votes, has not won over the others, but they do not mention that the “no” parties (C’s, PSC-PSOE and PP) have achieved 39%. Nor did 11.5% vote with plebiscite logic, as did Catalunya. Yes, it is Pot (coalition between Podemos and Ezker Batua) and the UDC of Duran Lleida, which has disappeared. Nor has it been regrettable that 1.1% of the votes were taken by other forces outside the Basque Parliament.
It should be noted that the opportunities that have sought to flee the dialectic of the plebiscite, such as the United, have remained very few, or their forecasts have remained very small, for example, to the coalition of Initiative and Podemos.
The plebiscitary logic has given C’s victory and superiority in Spanish nationalism. It almost triples the result with 25 Members and leaves the big loser of the day at the door of the general election. The PSC-PSOE, for its part, has lost Members, although it has not received a punch of the size predicted by the surveys.
There has been a record of participation and the political and media bloc of the “no” has made an apocalyptic campaign; therefore, with these results, independence has received a clear mandate that gives legitimacy to its proposal. However, the results obtained make it clear that the Catalan process rotates to the left and will have to assume its social proposals.
We will have to wait for the foreign vote to come, but with these results the investiture of Mas is complicated, because to do so, in addition to the 62 members of JxS, you will need some Cup. And so far, the Cup has always reversed that possibility. Negotiations will now begin between these two forces, with the aim of overcoming the biggest problem that exists at the moment for the formation of a new government.
It's just two solutions, or there's a change of leadership or the Cup changes its focus. This debate is already among the independentists, and yet the order is clear and the process is going on. The Spanish press has it for a moment.

In 2011, the powerful 15-M movement broke out, which put the Catalan Govern in a hurry. Among other things, on that occasion the Police ran into the indignant camp of the Plaza Cataluña de Barcelona and besieged the Parlament on the day that the activists had to approve the... [+]
On the Internet comes the title of a movie that I still saw when I was growing up looking for the word Willow. In this fantasy film, the protagonist, a small man named Willow, transformed the world by liberating its inhabitants from an oppressive kingdom. Google just launched a... [+]
Irene Coulon’s talk about sleeping beauty and the image of incineration has been the main theme of this year’s Feministaldia. He has torn apart the cultural ideas of sleep, making it clear that we also have masculinized sleep. Many of the (cultural) lessons of sleep are... [+]
Araia told me to write to you. He told me that before I leave them (I will do this this year), they want to take you a text of mine, which I have never taken you, and that you deserve, that you will be proud of me. Such an opportunity cannot be missed. I don't know what I can... [+]
I have recently had the opportunity to see the latest work by Pierre Carles, a committed documentary author. Under the name of Guérilla des FARC, l'avenir a une histoire (FARC guerrilla, the future has history), proposes a renewed account of the armed conflict that has lasted... [+]

Entrepreneurship is fashionable. The concept has gained strength and has spread far beyond economic vocabulary. Just do it: do it no more. But let us not forget: the slogan comes from the propaganda world. Is the disguise of the word being active buyers? Today's entrepreneurs are... [+]
We're in chaos. That has been said to us by the French media, which Parliament has brought down the government on 4 December. The fear that political, institutional, social, economic chaos will rage us all in the horde of hell comes to our veins. What comedy we're going to play... [+]
Surely, most of us have already bought, here and there, the gifts for Christmas. Because the night visit to Olentzero is a great quote, especially for the youngest. Everyone is preparing for this fruitful era of the year: Bilbao burns as much as Vitoria, Pamplona and Baiona,... [+]
What surprised you the most when you left jail? I've been asked many times in the last year and a half.

The issue of aid for Basque learning is really confusing. The citizen who wants to learn Basque must go to more than one window to know how much the course he wants to take and where, how and when he will get the grants. Because it still costs money to study, nothing is free... [+]
