After the verses I made for the Light, mentioning the relationship of the mother with the son and the sweetness of the mother, some, including my daughter, told me:
"And my father, what?" As usual.
Here is the answer in three verses:
The breasts of women and the
breasts of men,
it is said that separation is in
itself a heavy sin.
Forgive
me if I have passed the line of equality;
my admiration for my mother
is my only reason.
I had been a clumsy father and I could not cope with my burden; I would have wanted my mother to do
me like her, but, no matter how innocent she was,
no matter how hard I did, I would not have been able to
match the sweetness that is in my mother.
And now the worry, if my performance
was pretty chauvinist, at least
some have not been in
the laziness of responding.
Let nature say whatever it
wants in its
own way, and listen carefully, nature has
never lied.
