In them, and as we are fanning books and summer readings, and at some point, among other things, I would recommend reading those of California from Asun Garikano to anyone who wants to read them. The work of the Basques in the exploration and colonization of California, is an excellent manual to appropriate as many Basques as the history of California and the Basque Country, which our students must inevitably read in the stage of compulsory education in the subjects of History and Literature, as well as those we are out of school. Once this has been done, I would recommend a possible reader to complete the path of this book, and among those that must be read would include the second part of this California book, the Basque Country Herria of Far West of the same Garikano.
