Independence, he said, will solve the problems of Euskal Herria, and that may be the case. On the occasion of the Aberri Eguna, there have been few messages in favour of independence, nor those of the accumulation of fortunate forces, dreaming that in this country most of us have independence. The majority, the majority, the majority Abertzale, the majority Basque trade union... No doubt, yes, because we are the majority. Where? In the CAPV. All right! OK. What happens is that in Nafarroa Garaia others have always been a majority and we are always a minority, an Abertzale minority, a Basque trade union minority, and so it has been in these 35 years. I don't know if at the CAPV you've ever realized that little, banal nuance. And the issue has its merits, because, with exceptions, in the CAV have been designed largely Basque proposals for all Hego Euskal Herria in the last third of the century. Today, however, let us hope that things will not remain; that is, if you want, organize a huge campaign to proclaim independence, but at least make an equal effort for a different cry, to change Navarre. “We must attract those who are not nationalists to the cry of independence,” said an amateur for independence the other day. OK. But in the absence of a year for the 2015 elections, I would change a word in that reflection: “We must attract non-nationalists to demand change.” The key is that. Otherwise, in vain. That is, according to the latest polls, at least a quarter of UPN voters would stay home to the next elections. But that would not be enough to start organizing another Navarre. Something else is needed, as it is essential to attract thousands of votes by our side. Until recently, this would be more difficult than achieving independence. Today, however, and among other things, due to the issue of the newly resigned councillor of UPN Polo, it does not seem impossible to do so. But to do so, more than the word independence will have to be proposed to try to solve the everyday problems of the Navarre people, and the Basque nationalists, Vascophiles and progressive Navarros will have to make a special and reasonable effort to launch a real offer by areas, economic, fiscal and health, education, public works and infrastructure, and, above all, in an issue in which the vast majority of Navarros share: Navarre in the way of governing in another way.

This weekend I've been thinking about the word 'aesthetic' in relation to a phrase said by a friend: “This work is aesthetic.” I have studied the etymology of the word aesthetic, it seems that its meaning was originally perceived through the senses, and it was later associated... [+]
