Too often, self-criticism, the embellishment of self-apology. Anilla. Today, in the times in which we live, self-criticism is an indispensable basis for any organization to be able to self-evaluate its functions and activities. To refer to what is usually self-evaluation, the concept of self-criticism is prioritized in the document that defines the intentions of the organization. So also in the most modern aspect that we have been created in the Basque Country: “In this way, criticism and self-criticism will play a fundamental role,” he says, detailing immediately what self-criticism and, above all, self-evaluation is: “It’s a way to overcome volunteerism, improvisation and a lack of appreciation of results.”
However, it would seem that a political party like Sortu, which comes from a strong tradition, which has emerged as an evolution of the political execution of that tradition, would have to explain, I mean, why it occurs, why the old formula does not serve, what defects it had to make an apparent metamorphosis. Well, none of that in the two important and long papers. “It was born with the objective of being a dynamic reference of ENAM and engine of the process of national liberation and social transformation”. Oh my God! As if nothing had happened to ENAM in its evolution, as if ENAM had nothing to reflect on what to do and what to evaluate its experience. Yes, it has seven points called “Strategic Evolution of ENAM”, but nothing goes like self-criticism. On the contrary, it has undergone “strategic and organizational readjustments to adapt to new socio-political changes and new opportunities”. That is, applying self-criticism as a basis, but as a self-apology: As a wisdom to “adapt to new opportunities”.
Self-criticism, of course, does not have to be self-sufficient. Self-criticism also needs its limits, its positive objectives, its strength and its strength to take new paths. But if by definition the boundaries limit a space, how do you limit the self-criticism that doesn't have a core?
Welcome back to this ENAM political statement that should never have made the legal map disappear (many people took part in the platforms against that illegalization). Welcome to Sortu’s new political definition, a new attempt at adaptation. It has to be admitted: it is difficult, as it is difficult, to bring to a mere political adjustment all those who have been immersed in political and military strategies. But the lack of minimum self-criticism seems to me to be an over-expressive reflection: how far is it yet to adjust to the current new situation on most political points.
