Argia.com Users can support themselves
- On the Internet we make available all the contents of the magazine Argia, created for Argia.com for free. But it's not a free job, it's maintained thanks to the weekly subscribers. From 17 September onwards, Internet users have the opportunity to financially support the Argia project.
Argia started betting on the Internet in 1997, and since then it has been enriched with content such as the web Argia.com. The Semanario, Larrun and the Basque Culture Yearbook are available, but in addition, it is a media media network: you can find up-to-date information, articles from various specialized media, a growing community of blogs, an interactive television program Beranegi, a new weekly documentary, short films, full video conferences, social networks, specialized channels, channels of dissemination of your first opinion, diaporamas
One of the main innovations is that: We will renew the website for November and we will place all contents under the Creative Commons license so that anyone can use these contents in Basque at their own discretion.
Four of the eleven journalists in our working group work almost entirely Argia.com, and our goal is the connection between paper and the Internet, so the whole team writes for the weekly and Argia.com.
According to CIES data, 57,000 people read the Argia Weekly in Hego Euskal Herria and 5,000 read it daily Argia.com.

The development of contents in Basque on the Internet is a key element for the future of language and Argia also wants to keep its point.
More and more advertising is being added Argia.com, but not yet enough to make your expenses profitable. Astekai subscribers enable the Argia project to develop on the Internet as well. From 17 September, however, users of Argia.com will have the possibility to subsidise the Argia project.
How to make the contribution
Everyone will choose to what extent and how often (in one stroke, every month, a year) they like to support the project.
In order for the user to be aware of the importance of supporting the project, in the coming weeks Argia.com will show on the Internet the contents and services he has offered so far, as well as the projects we are preparing for the future.
