For a few months now, I, like our people, have been on a journey. Part of the conflict that has lasted for many years is over. We lack many others to get to what we call coexistence. And there we are, on the road, taking steps. And it seems that it's going to cost more than the same conflict to match your story. That is what has now become a priority: story or story. And, as one perceives, it is going to be difficult to achieve unity about it, the goal is being to prioritize the story of oneself over that of others. And some will try to have only one story.

Those of us who think that a single story is not possible therefore have problems. And to tell those of us who have work, a special responsibility. It is not easy to take a distance in the moment we live with respect to what you want to count. But I think the effort is necessary. It is necessary to show the different edges of the story. And I don't think we should associate only the story of a single victim/eraser with the binomial. The story refers more to the superiority of truth, or a truth, than to nothing else. And here I find it even more difficult to imagine the only truth. I find it easier to imagine as many truths as people. Because every life is a truth. Everyone lives their truth. And the more truth it adds to this journey, the richer the story is.

Five directors have taken responsibility for counting five different truths. Portraits of five Basque political prisoners. Five different colors painted on a gray prison wall. We've tried to look at these lives from one end of this story. It will be partiality that accuses us. We don't deny it. Looking from one edge does not mean not seeing others. What’s more, if you want people to see their edge with respect, you’re bound to be flexible with the other edges as well. The trip is not convenient. Ask our backers. The road is full of boats or holes. Sometimes we're jumping and other times we've put it into the hole. We've been on lockdown. But we see the goal there, now closer: a screen.
