We are experiencing changes that go beyond the electoral and potential results for the Spanish Courts, at a time when we are increasingly closer to November 20. We have had a year of declarations, agreements and staging and many of the manifestations that are beginning to appear in the soles of some people's shoes. It is also the changes and developments, but which have accelerated in recent months and which some have placed within the electoral urgency.

On 20 October we received the “last” communiqué from ETA and I do not know whether we can conclude the speculative exercises that some have carried out on the communiqué. In short, I've been thinking about the favor that these low-margin games have had these days. They also gave him a date, which had to be before 20N, yes or yes, while the PSOE rules in Madrid. And although this has been the case, and except for surprises, it will be the pp who will have to manage the consequences of the armed conflict and its consequences. And then they remind me that it can be Zapatero's last letter, and I realize that I am once again out of the question, and that my doubt can reward Spanish public opinion to the PSOE and punish it. We just have to look at the polls.

For the elections to the Spanish Courts, on this occasion, the Basque parties, unlike a few years ago, are giving everything. The Abertzale left has also reshaped its electoral strategies within the framework of the open line in recent times. For years, the PNV has underestimated the Madrid road and underestimated the transfers made to the Basque Autonomous Community taking advantage of the local representation and weakness of the different governments. The three strategic votes of Ibarretxe’s proposal in the Basque Parliament are also there, making it clear that the Madrid wall was insurmountable. However, in the current political context, another importance is being given to having its own parliamentary group in the Congress of Deputies and the arguments in favour of abstention are being forgotten. New means for the new times, although only some of them cannot assume the truthfulness of change. The new realities represent a process of relocation on the political table.

It will be 20N, and we will see how the results of the municipal and foral elections have been repeated, and, far from it, there will be anyone looking towards 2013. Meanwhile, here we see that the foundations of the new era start to settle. It is now up to the Basque society to build the house. It's a challenge.
