The SOS Pamplona-Veleia platform filed a complaint against the Provincial Council of Álava regarding the dismantling of the heritage in the Pamplona-Veleia site. The Court, however, dismisses the complaint on the grounds that there is insufficient evidence. On the other hand, the SOS Pamplona-Veleia platform has submitted 2,132 signatures of those who support the clarification of the matter to the Provincial Council.

Professor Roslyn May Frank of the United States of America has been interviewed in the newspaper Nueva on this subject and says, among other things, the following about the Iruña-Veleia issue: “I’m so excited and worried about it. I think the graphics can be real. I can't understand what's going on. I cannot understand how the physico-chemical laboratory tests that would decide the matter forever have not been carried out. This topic is not exclusive to Álava or the Basque Country, if the findings were real, they would be of worldwide importance. That’s why I think it’s very serious to consider it false with such light arguments.”
