Either nobody tells the truth or nobody really knows what's going on. Shortly after the leak, it was said that 1,000 to 2,000 tons of oil were dumped every day, but at this time it is certain that at least 4,000 tons are dumped every day. The impact of oil stains has already begun to be felt on the coasts of several southeastern states of the United States.

More than 160 million tons have been dumped between June 10 and the end is not near. Now another source of concern has been added to the previous one: what is happening at the bottom of the sea? Because oil is less dense than water, it actually impacts the Earth’s surface, but because the spill has occurred at a depth of 1,500 meters, scientists are not sure what the behavior of oil will be. In fact, scientists have detected oil rivers mixed with water at various depths, and it is completely unknown what effect these rivers will have on the surrounding ecosystems.
