The false announcement of a housing rental installed by the Xibero Anti-Speculative Collective (XEKK) has aroused great interest. The group believed it was clear that the announcement was ironic, because "it was nothing real", he rented the house for 150 euros. The announcement was withdrawn the same day as it had 1,451 unexpected visits, 29 people contacted by email and 117 requested the advertiser's number.

XEKK explained that it did not intend to create false hopes and that the interest generated by the announcement has shown "the obstacles that some have in obtaining housing".

On April 15, XEKK symbolically occupied a second home in Irabarne with the intention of indicating the empty houses. In addition, he pointed out another nine empty houses of the town: "21% of Gotaine-Irabarne are second homes, and it is only one example".
