The Prosecutor's Office has ordered eight years in jail for the neighbor of Amurrio Galder Barbado and seven years in probation for the young Gasteiztarra Aitor Zelaia. The two young people were arrested almost two years ago for their alleged connection to a drum containing explosive material and were released. They were incarcerated for six months and have since been on probation.
The trial for these events will be held on 21 and 22 January at the National Court of Madrid. Barbado and Zelaia will have the same prosecutor as they have been in the case of the young people of Alsasua.
Dynamics of solidarity
This morning Stop to Violence! Platform to initiate a dynamic of solidarity in favor of the two young people. They have announced a number of mobilisations, and they have launched a campaign of adhesions to the repulsive concentration.
One of the demonstrations will take place on 16 January in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The demonstration will start at 17:30 hours from the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
