The Amarauna Association took its first steps in 2017, when nuns living in the convent left and allowed them to use the building and the lands. Among adults and children, today more than a dozen people live there and want to connect their life project with the service they offer to the popular movement.

Since the acquisition of the space, dozens of associations and entities have gone through the self-managed space managed by Amarauna, carrying out conferences, meetings and meetings. In the future, this offer remains one of the axes of the project. In 2018, the nuns gave them the opportunity to buy the space and are raising through crowdfunding, loans and money that the neighbors have put to them for next December.
