A Ziburu worker dies in Landeta, fallen to a large industry embedded in Ryam biorefinery

A 28-year-old worker from Ziburu (Lapurdi) died at Ryam Tartas biorefinery in Landeta. The company ' s production was on hold and the deceased was a maintenance subcontractor. The Dax Prosecutor’s Office has informed the media France Bleu that the worker was cleaning the fireplace when he fell to a large funnel and that he had suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest by inhaling local toxic powders. Apparently, he's been poisoned to death.
He is the second Iparralde worker who died this year working in Iparralde, the eleventh in Euskal Herria.
