The State of Israel, since its unilateral proclamation 75 years ago, has had the natural element of war. War is the food of the economic engine of the state machinery, which is what Israel best sells in world markets: the most advanced technology for war and social control, with the guarantee of having been tested in a context of real war. But it is not only the main fuel of the economy, but also war as an adhesive element for the cohesion of an extraordinarily heterogeneous and unbalanced society. The plurality of societies that have formed Jews displaced all over the world in the last seven decades would erupt, if not for fear of a wild common enemy that maintains a unified society.
It is difficult to find in the blackest history of mankind a genocidal regime that has murdered so many children in such a short time
Thus, the action of resistance of October 7 struck the biggest weakness of the occupation regime, its war in the irreducible image of its machinery. The far-right government in the Tel Aviv regime has not forgiven that it has paralysed the shame and made it pay the aggressors, not the 2.3 million civilian citizens kidnapped fifteen years ago in the concentration camp in Gaza. The chain of events is well known. The occupation regime has launched an unprecedented bomb in the world against the unprotected population of the Gaza Strip and in two weeks have killed over 5,000 people, of whom nearly 2,000 children. It is difficult to find in the blackest history of mankind a genocidal regime that has murdered so many children in such a short time. However, unlike the previous ones, the technological means of spreading the images of the massacre are plentiful and it is increasingly difficult for the Zionist regime to win the battle of the story. Despite the fact that the official media around the world, uncritically and unchecked, make the voice of the occupier’s version louder, the dramatic scenes of dexterity have overwhelmed conventional media and it is increasingly difficult to find Israel buying the absurd discourse of self-defence.
Faced with this bloody evidence, there are not many who have raised their voices throughout the world for this genocide to stop, but on many occasions the requests for the cessation of the massacre have been voiced and on several occasions have remained on the most offensive level.
We cannot look at the atmosphere of violence of the last two weeks as if it were a spontaneous explosion ignited at the beginning of October. The congenital violence, and the one that generates the force of subsequent resistance, is the very colonization of Palestine, which has as its starting point, at least 75 years ago. The Zionist cleaning project, launched seven decades ago, aims to eliminate the native population of the areas between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River (according to the blue lines represented by the Israeli flags between Euphrates and Nile). They have used a strategy of colonialism by colonies for decades. Through massive massive massive mass mass mass mass mass mass mass mass masses, the destruction of peoples until they disappear from the map, the annexation and annexation of land and water sources, the extension of colonies, the provision of sustainable infrastructures, etc., and in general, the unsustainability of the living conditions of the population, day by day, so that they have no choice but to flee exile. In this context, the Palestinian resistance emerges with all the legitimacy conferred on it by the point of view of ethics and international law.
Therefore, talking about the conflict between the two sides is a dialectic brutality. The congenital violence of the occupier cannot be equated with the defensive action of the occupier (although this response violence can also lead to abuse). The destructive action of a regular army cannot be equated with the activity of a self-organised militia.
Talking about conflict between the two sides is a dialectic brutality
The external spectator, although not very much in the military strategy, will not understand well what the Israeli occupation regime is looking for in Gaza. What benefits do you want to bring to that sterile surface of Treviño, a coastal corner of destruction and waste, from which nothing can be taken. It will be difficult for the viewer to understand the performance that can be taken from over 2,000 children in a cruel way. Therefore, faced with a disappointing view of genocide, the question is inevitable: Why? And the simple answer: because they can do it. That is what Israel wants to achieve with the ethnic cleansing of the people of Gaza, to show that they can do so, that they are untouchable and that, despite the greatest unthinkable peripetees, in the world it does not dare to confront. In fact, over the past seven decades, Israel has been able to develop a project for the constant and unhindered cleansing of the Palestinian native population, which is why they have left it.
Therefore, Israel, an abnormal state emerging from an abnormal starting point, has war as an element of economic engine and social cohesion, but it could only not, if it is not because they leave it. We cannot make an objective analysis of the conflict in recent weeks without taking into account Israel’s strategic political, economic and corporate relations at international level, which are the guarantees of the sustainability of the Zionist State and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. And when we call for the cessation of genocide, we cannot fail to mention the close links between the administrations and the political and business class of the Basque Country itself and the Zionist project. One of the most significant examples of this corporate complicity with the State of Israel, but not the only one, is CAF. The Beasain company, with the participation of the Basque Government, is building permanent infrastructures to stabilize the Palestinian occupation, between the illegal colonies established in East Jerusalem and the urban area. These infrastructures offer a definitive guarantee of annexed land in the Palestinian area and a fundamental strategic support to the Zionist project. They have always had the unconditional support of the Basque Government and the government party, the PNV.
These days we are witnessing a historic moment, the Israeli Zionist regime is in a desperate race of disaster without any brakes or control, leaving behind the greatest possible destruction, and no one seems to stop what they call international communities. The Palestinian resistance has called into question one of the pillars of Goliath’s survival: the alleged uselessness of his military machinery. There is another column that needs to be crushed to collapse the giant: the external links that underpin the regime. And that's in our hands. Leaving aside sterile and equidistant reptiles, and each in its place, it is our responsibility to break the bonds of complicity that correspond to this black page of history. To live Palestine. And with Palestine, so that humanity does not die.
