After the event, the Zaldibar landfill burned for several days, spilling large quantities of dioxins and furans. The fire was last unleashed on 20 February, when a fire broke out. Now, the smoke reappears at the top of the landfill, as seen in the images disseminated by a Facebook user.
On the other hand, the Zaldibar Argitu platform has carried out three-hour stops at Eibar, Mallabia, Elgeta, Ermua and Zaldibar. Demonstrations and concentrations have also taken place in Bilbao.

The platform decided to postpone the afternoon demonstrations in the localities of Eibar and Ermua and Markina: "Our goal is to bring our health and lives to the center and we want to act responsibly this time too, for the coronavirus."
