Military who led the evacuation of Zad, directing the coronavirus crisis in the French state
  • Richard Lizurey, who was the head of the evacuation of the Zad de Notre-Dame-des-Landes in 2018, has been appointed by the French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, as the manager of the coronavirus. “It’s very good in crisis management,” says a person close to the prime minister, according to the media Reporterre.

Lizurey is known for his repression of the social and environmental movements that have taken place in the French State. The evacuation of the Zad of 2018 was the busiest, as hundreds of people were injured, and one of them lost his hand.

In this case, the general said he "felt" what had happened, but in this context it was something that "could have happened."

Lizurey also exercised the command in the case of the jackets that were created that same year. In a statement to chain C News, Fernández Díaz explained that weapons will not be left out: “We’ll be on the road and prevent them from happening.”

He also considered "disproportionate" the discussion about whether the police had abused violence to suppress protests against the Macron government.
