So-called agriculture and land cultivation
  • For the farmer, gardening is only an impediment. A lot of today’s “advanced” farmers think so. In their work they don’t need orchards, chicken houses, apples or hives.

That’s how we got to today’s grower landscape. They only use chemical fertilizers. Moments of gigantic stables that accumulate hundreds of cows that eat little land and only outdoor food. The horticulturists who adhere one by one to the tomatoes that grow and swell without touching the soil with the seal of presumed highest quality. To help foreigners who are unable to live in servitude, which forces them to work in conditions of slavery - those who need the labour of the poor and the poor. That's where our farmers are. Some of them. The industrial farmers. Knowingly or not, they are part of the agricultural mafia.

We will find a different approach among the field workers. More sweet, of course. Those who have the respect they need for the Earth. Those who devote much finesse to the obstruction of the true quality of the air that their daughters and daughters will breathe, the water that they will drink, the vegetables, fruits, meat, etc. that they will eat. Of all of us, including the daughter of the greatest mobster, who are doing and doing the land work that brings health, that makes it possible to address the capacity to be who we are, and that weaves the people.

Among the industrial food mafia and the fine honest workers of the land there are many levels of cultivators: excavators, peasants, landlords, pastoralists, campaigners, cattle lenders, landlords, friends of the land, ranchers, alortians and the aforementioned peasants, landowners, peasants, etc.

It is everyone’s job to promote sustainable agriculture that gives the future to the land, but whoever is doing it knows what they are doing. The farmer knows, the transformer knows, the salesman knows, the technician knows, the union knows, the politician knows. We all know that: The agriculture of the Basque Country is in a hole of ruins that is almost irreversible; a long time ago we made it to the river and it is toto. We become builders in the disaster or follow it in the same way.

Since we’re dealing with criticism, we say: but those who generate money from disaster also know it. In 1927, the University of Tennessee in the United States clearly explained the path to failure in agriculture. Here is the decalogue: cultivate a single crop; have no cattle; the chicken house and the garden are only a nuisance; take it from the ground and take it without giving anything; keep the ground red without covering it and let the water erode the sweetest soil; planning is heavy, in utica! trust in chance; cultivate the forest as if it were a coal mine, cut down all the trees, sell the wood and use the cleared land to grow the flock; because of the good enough, keep the agricultural roads that your grandparents used; whether by hand, sludge, do not join with those around you in any collaboration; mortgage all your exploitation, all the euros that it costs, so that if you cultivate the right agriculture, you have the money to acquire the things that you would have had.

A hundred years ago, yes, some predicted the current situation. Many don’t want to see it today. And some try to keep it hidden, because that is the benefit that agriculture provides for them.
