- The festival was born with the intention of being a friendly initiative, it has already become a fixed date of the last weekend of May. This year, for the ninth time, the Usopop Festival will be held on May 26 and 27.
In the run-up to the two-figure age, this year’s festival will undergo some small changes, and in nine years Usopop will pass in two places of particular importance: On the neck of the Lizarias and in the chapel of Santa Catalina.
Saturday in Lizarias
The first day of the festival will be on Saturday, May 26. The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and there will be several groups on the table: Frustration group culture, rock band Willis Drummond strong rock, danceable DBFC rhythms, the dreamlike melodies of the duo Lumi, the magic of FranÁois and 4 films, the last spectacular Soka dance of the Bilaka compania and the Coconut disco setters.
Sunday in Santa Catalina
Sunday performances begin at 2.30 p.m. and pass through the Chapel of Santa Catalina. In addition to DJ Coconut, the band Gratuit will also perform, as well as the young quartet Orbel. The artists Maria Arnal i Marcel Bages will also come from Catalonia.
