On 11 January the trial against the Gaztetxe de Errotxapea will take place
  • The trial against the Gaztetxe de Errotxapea in Pamplona was to be held in March, but was postponed by the pandemic. The members of the Gaztetxe reported in September that the case was under way against them, and they already have a date for trial: 11 January. Thus, the Gaztetxe de Errotxapea remains at risk of eviction.

The Gaztetxe de Errotxapea made an appeal in August last year to "launch the resistance", denouncing that they want to "steal and destroy the area controlled by the expropriated". The City Council of Pamplona, La Caixa and the company Juslaberri initiated this third judicial process against gaztetxe and, according to the latest news, the intention of the fund of vultures Simultaneous Star, owner of the premises, is to build houses in the area.

Three members of the Gaztetxe will be tried on 11 January and have denounced that the consequences of the resolution can be very serious: The payment of legal costs up to 40,000 euros and the eviction of the Gaztetxe de Errotxapea.
