Getxo City Hall stands in solidarity with footballer Unai Etxebarria
- Getxo City Hall has shown solidarity with the Getxo player who has been expelled from the Granada football club for wearing a t-shirt in favour of the Alsasua prisoners. EH Bildu, PNV and Elkarrekin Podemos voted in favour of the statement; PSE and pp have voted against it.
“This City Hall considers that the dismissal of Unai Etxebarria has been a serious violation of rights, both in terms of civil and labour rights. We call for respect for everyone’s right to freedom of expression and at all times,” says the text adopted.
