After the war in Ukraine, what? (I)
Joan Mari Beloki 2024ko urtarrilaren 11

This reflection is not made to be read by everyone. For no one to waste time, know beforehand that to read this paper you have to believe that the war did not begin in 2022, but in 2014, with the coup in Euromaida. The Nazis who took over the government established the genocidal policy of Donbass. It turned Ukraine into a fascist state, banned political parties, trade unions and opposition media and imprisoned many militants. The war began as a result of a US plan, and not because of Putin’s ignorance and boredom. Ukraine, NATO and the EU have never intended to comply with the Minsk agreement and the years they conducted their negotiations were dedicated exclusively to Ukraine to organise the strongest army in Western Europe. Russia does not intend to conquer land in Western Europe. If you agree to these contents you can start reading. If you're not, don't waste time.

The war in Ukraine is now about to end. Only the decision of the high authorities is lacking. Russia has imposed itself on the giant army of the USA, NATO, the EU and Ukraine itself. Ukrainian President Zelenski himself acknowledged the failure of the counter-attack. Despite the fact that during these months the European Union has emptied all its arsenals by sending arms to Ukraine, and EE.UU, to a large extent it has demonstrated a great ability to destroy all these weapons as soon as possible. Abrams, Leopard, Challenger -- the most modern tanks were supposed to be enough to impose themselves on the Russian army, but beliefs have corrupted those who organized this war on Russia. If NATO had little weapon for the fall, the problem became insurmountable when Sixteen hit Israel on 7 October. The need to send thousands of bombs, tanks and other utensils to Israel condemned Ukraine to become poor. From an economic point of view, Ukraine is depressed and increasingly has problems receiving aid from the US and the EU.

However, Ukraine ' s problem with the number of troops could be more serious than the shortage of weapons. Although no one knows reliable numbers, it can be assured that the largest of the Ukrainian soldiers killed is hundreds of thousands. Throughout the war, along with those who have been mutilated, wounded, disappeared and detained, there are those who say that they can approach the million. At present the average age of soldiers is around 45 years, the most significant sign that young people are disappearing from the front. Many dead, many others escaped abroad, the Ukrainian army is running out of young warriors. People have long stood in the street trying to fill the holes in the front of the army. It is being seen that the lost soldiers cannot be represented. It can be said that it is very close to collapse if it has not reached that point.

Meanwhile, the Russian army is showing that it is getting faster every day. Its military industry has increased its production, it creates more modern weapons and, as if it were not enough, it has North Korea and Iran next door to give more weapons to its liking. Its economy is also strengthening, for example, by 2023 GDP will increase by 3.5% and will not reach half of Europe. NATO’s debt is that Russia now has the strongest army in Europe. In addition, hundreds of thousands of soldiers could be mobilized in the short term if they wish, since only part of their large army is in this war. Air dominance has given Russia a great advantage in imposing itself on the NATO army. The Russian army is comfortable on the front and knows that it has won the war. As one of the objectives of this "special military operation" is the demilitarization of Ukraine, it is in no hurry for the enemy army to stop beating.

Some questions arise as a consequence of the above:

• To whom is the official end of the war? Today it is in the hands of Zelenski. Tomorrow I don't know. According to the opinions coming from the US, their authorities are looking for substitutes for Zelenski. However, at the end of this war, it does not appear that what matters is the name of anyone sitting at the peace table on behalf of Ukraine. One or the other, because whoever sits down will necessarily have to accept the requests of the Russian winner.
