- The members of Jaizkibel have for years been making a clear and forceful claim: they want to enjoy the festivities of their people. They have been in diapers of dozens of different colours for over 20 years, participating in the egalitarian alarming of 8 September. Different colors, different colors, different colors, so much force.
Giving place to everyone who comes in these years, slowly but in the direction of egalitarian festivities. What are the reasons for banning a company? What reasons can you have to get to the City Hall and not be there to receive it? Is it going to be the one who really has us on the leg who decides our right to participate in the festivities?
The people are wounded. Only an injured people can normalize the extraction of black plastic and insult, deny or attack their neighbour. Only an injured people can accept the lack of women’s rights, by establishing first- and second-class citizens. Only those who want to maintain power and privilege at any price can turn their backs on the violation of rights, closing the door to a sincere and constructive dialogue for the solution.

But it's not a matter of coexistence, it's a matter of law. Although some warm gestures have been made this year, Jaizkibel remains an institutional exception. The City Hall should represent all the citizens, so it should promote the steps towards the resolution of the current conflict, enabling channels of dialogue.
This year's Alarde has been a milestone. More people than ever walked around Jaizkibel, with more applause than ever before. The atmosphere has become calmer than ever before. We are glad to see the multitudinous and colorful parity alarming on Calle Mayor de Hondarribia. We are proud of you, Zorionak!
On the road to this milestone we have just set, we will continue to work from mutual recognition and mutual gaze. We only have to thank, year after year, all those who continue to fight for a feminist Basque Country. A people who guarantee the right of all citizens to participate freely in community celebrations will never die!
