The material damage caused in recent days by the hail storm is being recorded in several localities of Hego Euskal Herria, but they anticipate that it has left significant damage: damage to vehicles, flooding of roads and houses, loss of crops, rupture of building crystals... Even on Monday afternoon they have treated a woman in Igorre, a hail wound, according to EITB.

Among the worst hit are Igorre, Dima, Amorebieta, Iurreta, Ondarroa and others. Material losses such as Eibar, Mutriku, Azkoitia and Azpeitia have also occurred in Gipuzkoa. However, in southern Navarre Sunday was the worst day, and the Government of Navarre has requested that the localities of Fitero, Cintruénigo and Corella be declared catastrophic areas.

The Minister for the Environment and Rural Development, José Mari Aierdi, and the Councillor for Territorial Cohesion, Oskar Txibite, have come to these municipalities to speak with their mayors and officials and assess the damage.
