One, respect the sovereignty of all countries, as established by the United Nations. Two, abandon the mentality of the Cold War. The security of a region cannot be achieved by the expansion and strengthening of military blocs. Three, override attacks. War and conflict are not conducive to dialogue, and all parties must help Russia and Ukraine to work in the same direction and to begin direct dialogue as soon as possible. Four, peace talks must begin. Peace and negotiation are the only solution to the crisis in Ukraine.
Five, the humanitarian crisis must be resolved. The security of civilians must be effectively protected and humanitarian corridors created to remove civilians from conflict zones. Work with the UN to coordinate this work. Six civilians and prisoners of war must be protected. On the one hand, the two parties to the conflict must strictly comply with international rules so as not to attack civilians and, on the other, China will support the exchange of prisoners of war. Seven, ensuring the safety of nuclear power stations. China is opposed to the attack on nuclear power stations and demands compliance with international standards on all parties.
Eight, strategic risks must be reduced and, therefore, nuclear weapons and nuclear wars must not be used. Nine, crop exports must be facilitated, and to this end all parties must comply with the agreement signed by Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the UN. Ten, the suspension of unilateral sanctions, which cannot solve the problem; only China will approve the sanctions adopted by the UN Security Council. We must maintain the chains of eleven, industry and supplies. All parties must refuse to use the world economy as an instrument or political weapon. Twelve, post-conflict reconstruction must be promoted. China is ready to help.
Biden Ukraine by surprise
As China proposes to push for a peace process, last Monday, U.S. President Joe Bidene made an unexpected secret journey to meet Ukraine Volodomir Zelensky. There he pledged USD 500 million more to help in the war and announced that this week he will impose more economic sanctions against Russia. He warned Russia that it will never win this war and assured Ukraine that it will have the support of the United States “for as long as necessary”. The EU authorities have also spoken in the same direction in relation to support for Ukraine. In general, Western forces attribute to China that it has not rejected the Russian invasion and that it supports Russia.
In principle, Volodomir Zelensky did not reject the Chinese plan, but he did not. According to existing official positions, Ukraine does not allow talks until Russia leaves all the lands of Ukraine. The two sides are suffering great deaths in the war and although it is difficult to know how many casualties there are until the end of the war, according to EE.UU. Both Russia and Ukraine have lost nearly 100,000 soldiers. According to the UN, civilian deaths can be around 8,000.
