One operator (M.G.R.) was on the Aceralava plant of the Tubacex group. The 59-year-old man died yesterday as a result of a cardiorespiratory arrest in the Lonja de Barakaldo. I was working on a site that was very hot when it fainted. It appears that the man suffered a heat blow to the operating leg derecha.El, which was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Cruces, has not been injured, but has been found to be unclean.

According to union sources, the operator was working in the factory with the company subcontracted by the Basque Social Security Institute Eusete. The unions will meet today at 15:00 to discuss what has happened in the area. The company's management has told them that she is unaware of the causes of the death of the young woman. We will update the news as we get more information.

Second occupational death in summer

This is the 33rd occupational death recorded in Euskal Herria so far this year and the second occurred in summer in Tubacex. On July 4, a young man from Llodio died at the Llodio factory in the Zaramaga district. Nine years ago another worker died in the same workplace he worked in.

The Aiaraldea medium then produced a report with the opinions of all the unions with representation at the plant on whether preventive measures were taken to prevent deaths at work.

20 deaths in 11 years

The list of occupational deaths is extended year by year. Since 2007, 20 workers have died in the region in accidents at work, according to yesterday's report. Last year, for example, two men died when working in the Orozko quarry.
