United States – 02:00 in the early morning in Euskal Herria – Joe Biden’s inaugural plenary session as president of the Capitol resumed at 20:00. The Democratic candidate for re-election in the November presidential elections began this Sunday the session of ratifying the results of the elections in the Capitol of Washington. The meeting between representatives of the Senate and the House of Representatives to give way to the last step of the electoral process has been suspended due to protests by Donald Trump’s followers.
Trump has not recognized Biden’s victory and his supporters argue that there has been electoral fraud and that thousands of votes have been stolen from the president over the past four years. Thus, the supporters of the former president met outside the Capitol on Wednesday to put pressure on the political representatives participating in the programme. The protests began in the vicinity of the building, but the trained police surpassed him and embarked on the road to the interior of the Capitol.
Hundreds of Trump supporters entered the building, where some of the senators had to be evacuated by Turkish media. As shown by several images that can be found on the Net, it was the police itself that opened the doors to those who protested:

By the time it was 19:00 in the United States, the situation had already calmed down and the senators decided to return to the House. Trump himself has also asked his followers to leave the building and head home. However, he has kept his electoral fraud theses and Twitter has deactivated his account for 12 hours and Instagram for one day. The session was reopened at 20:00 in the Congress of Deputies.
Following the assaults of the Protestants inside the Capitol, there has been a shooting and shortly thereafter the Washington Police has reported the death of a woman. Later, however, it has been reported that four deaths in the fatal accident have been recorded. The first deceased was charged by a National Police shooting.
Police interventions in this protest and in protests over the murder of George Floyd have been compared by several people, as the answer is not exactly the same. As the police opened up the education of protesters during the Wednesday offensive, the Capitol was deploying its protests on the streets of Washington about the murder of Floyd:
The Black Lives Matter movement was clearly expressed on Wednesday through social media in a joint statement: "What is happening today comes from the long history of white supremacist violence against blacks. White terrorists are prepared to hurt, harm and kill, to protect themselves and their whiteness."
