Some of the points of the information disseminated are:
- TikTok estimates that 260 videos are needed to attract someone. That's about 35 minutes, and in the 30-minute interval, RTikTok has also drawn a specific profile.
- Control tools have been put in place, but knowing that they do not work, as the aim is not to reduce the inspection time of each person.
- Although they know that it can be detrimental to the younger ones, as the younger ones, the tool offers a "better performance", as the younger ones are less able to control the time before the screen. They move from deleting accounts of users who do not reach legal age.
- They know that content moderation filters work badly: there are ways to find banned content.
- In pedophile content controls, for example, it is known that they have high error rates. For example, it was trending that children made stripper videos (naked) and the app got the older adults' "gifts" to their protagonists to reach a million shipments a month.
- The algorithm reinforces the appearance of people of good appearance, creating problems of self-perception for many adolescents.
